The new Tarraco completes SEAT's SUV Range as their "biggest product offensive".

Added: 28 November 2018

The new SEAT Tarraco, arriving early January 2019, is SEAT's first entry into the market of large SUV's. The Tarraco finishes the family of SUV's as it joins the award-winning SEAT Arona and Ateca.

Exterior3"SEAT's biggest product offensive reaches its climax with the introduction of the brand's new flagship model, the Tarraco"

The large SUV is anticipated to bring higher margins to SEAT. This is due to their competitiveness, which will allow them to cover 80% of the vehicle segments in the EU market. SEAT are confident and upbeat around the launch of the new Tarraco as they now offer a range of vehicles that suit every aspect of a customers' lifestyle

SEAT state, "the Tarraco blends greater levels of design, quality, equipment, connectivity, safety, style, and dynamics [that] bring a freshness to the segment [of current SUV's in the market]". The large SUV provides flexibility for customers both looking for a five or seven-seater SUV. The SEAT Tarraco is filled with innovative technology and creative design to ensure only the best driving experience whilst giving comfort to both the driver and its passengers (including paws).

"The new SUV blends key attributes of every vehicle in the SEAT range: design and functionality, sportiness and comfort, technology and emotion, but in a form factor that suits a wider variety of lifestyles. The New SEAT Tarraco is designed for drivers who need the usefulness of a five- or seven-seater, the practicality of a higher driving position but are conscious of a vehicle’s aesthetics and appreciate the Tarraco’s balance between self-confidence, elegance and sportiness" [SEAT UK Media Centre].

As the SUV market continues to grow, and appeal to a range of audiences, we believe the Tarraco will play a forefront role for SEAT as a brand. With the Tarraco, Arona, and Ateca leading by example, this offers greater opportunities for SUV expansion in the future.
